I use to love being outside working in the yard
cutting grass planting plant’s doing whatever I
had to do outdoors, but now them days are gone.
15-20 yrs ago it wasn’t nothing for me to spend
the day outside piddling around doing what
ever came to mind, but now I’ve gotten older
& now I can’t handle the heat like I use to, So
it takes everything in me to work outside.
I wrote a blog last year about a friends pond
I was doing & we got started so late in the yr
that we didn’t get a lot done but here it is
mid-to late June & getting back at it AGAIN
But THIS TIME I’m going to get on it tomorrow.
I’m going to be out there EARLY till noon &
put everything I got in it so I can get it going
THIS YEAR! I have donated to the project &
now it’s time to get it going so I can move on.
I don’t like prolonged projects but the person
I’m doing it for could care less if it gets done
whenever, I’m not that way, when I start a
project I want to get it done & over with.
I’ll be SUPER thrilled when it’s done so I can
see what needs to be done If there is anything
to be done, I’m hoping 🤞 it all goes right being
this is my 1st EVER pond I’ve done for some 1.
As far as getting any photos or videos of it sorry
that’s not going to happen like I would like to
but I can tell you this it’s going to be a hell of a
job cause we just got the rocks we need for it.
I donated the liner & have PLEANTY of VIDEOS
of something to go with he bought the pump,
hose & rocks so we SHOULD HAVE Everything
to see this through to have it going this year.
This is what I’m shooting for, but on a little bigger scale
I think it will really get him out of his depression he says
he’s been battling with, so we’ll see how this works cause
if there’s 1 thing I know about, That’s ponds is a GREAT
stress relief with a waterfall & the sound of the water.
So it’s as much mine as it is his so we can both enjoy it
it’s just I live about a mile down the road from him & if
I want to enjoy the hard work & time I put in it I have to
go to his place & he drives me up the wall sometimes.
